UNIBEN PRODUCES ANOTHER FEMALE PRESIDENT.

There's a saying that what a man can do,a woman can also do, this is gradually becoming real with the alarming rate with which women are delving into politics,from the time of Helen Johnson of Liberia to Mama Taraba of Nigeria and just yesterday another history was made at the prestigious University of Benin when a lady won the student union presidential election beating all her male counterpart hands down. Interestingly another lady will also be serving as her vice, the TEAMLORENZO correspondent who was present at the institution yesterday during and after the election reports that it was an electoral process that could simply be described as free and fair. At every polling unit visited things were going on well and even after the election results were announced the institution remained as calm as ever, though some supporters of the winners screamed and took to the streets to celebrate the success of their candidates but it was done in such an organized manner,as at the time this report was written there was no casualty of any form recorded.
