Bafana Bafana will not be returning home from their African Cup of Nations (Afcon), campaign on Thursday morning as expected.
They were due to arrive at OR Tambo International Airport from Equatorial Guinea at 6 o'clock, but their travel arrangements have now changed.
It's not clear when they will arrive.
The national team is expected to hold a media briefing at the airport, following Bafana's exit from the African Cup of Nations after the first round.
Meanwhile, former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper coach Deshi Bhaktawer says although the senior national team is always under the spotlight, the real focus for South Africa should be on development.
“Often as South Africans particularly in the football fraternity, we [are] not honest with ourselves. We should look at ourselves … how we do things administratively and how we structure the junior leagues and all that sort of things. So, I don't think you can blame Shakes [Bafana coach] for not going through and that sort of a thing,” adds Bhaktawer.
