UNIBEN STUDENTS PROTEST PROPERTY DEMOLITION

students of the university of benin(UNIBEN) yesterday attacked attacked property of the Edo state government in retaliation to the property given to the university during the administration of Dr Samuel Ogbemudia,A luxury bus belonging to the Edo city transport porpularly known as comrade bus with registration number ED129BH and another truck were set ablaze by the protesting students who described the action of the student as unconstitutional,the protesters blocked the entire benin-lagos road for over two hours before armed army were sent to disperse them,the student also took over the ugbowo axis in continuation of the protest,the University also wrote a petition to the inspector general of police claiming that thugs were sent to harass them and demolish their properties.
