Buhari To Visit Owerri On April 7
Muhammadu Buhari, the president-elect, is expected to pay a “thank you” visit to Owerri, Imo state, on April 7, Tuesday.
It was revealed in a statement by Sam Onwuemeodo, the media aide of Governor Rochas Okorocha.

“His Excellency, General Muhammadu Buhari, the president-elect on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, will be visiting the state to thank the people and government of the state for their unalloyed support that contributed greatly to his resounding victory at the polls on March 28.
Onwuemeodo also expressed optimism over the future of Nigerians after Buhari’s victory:
“In the new emerging order, everybody will be carried along and people will not be discriminated against on ground of their political leaning.”
On March 23, when Buhari campaigned in Owerri, he was warmly welcomed by a crowd of the All Progressives Congress supporters, and on March 28 Nigeria decided on the new president, whose inauguration is scheduled for May 29
