Basket Mouth Bags International Recognition
The city of Houston, Texas, United States of America will celebrate a Basketmouth Day.
The mayor of Houston Annice D. Parker, has declared Friday, July 17, 2015, Basketmouth Day to honour the comedian for his contribution in integrating the Nigerian American Community through his art.
The congressional recognition ceremony will hold on Saturday, July 18, 2015, same day as Basketmouth’s one man stand-up comedy show ‘Basketmouth Uncensored’ in Houston at the Ayva Center.
This is reportedly a great achievement for Basketmouth as he becomes the 1st Nigerian entertainer to have this honor conferred on them.
Known for his stage shows and hilarious skits, the comedian recently took to his Instagram page to post pictures of how he will look when he turns 90.
The award winning comedian is currently one of the brand ambassadors of telecommunications firm, Globacom (Glo). He has also become a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry
