Adesiyan About Buhari: Dictator Cannot Rule Nigeria
Referring to the All Progressives Congress candidate, Alhaji Abdul Jeleel Adesiyan, the minister of police affairs, insisted that a former dictator, cannot rule Nigeria.
Speaking on March 23, Monday, in Ede, Osun state, in the course of the house-to-house campaign for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan, he noted that no Yoruba man would allow dictatorship again in the country.
He was quoted as saying by The Tribune:
“I want people to go out en masse and vote for Jonathan and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming election so that they will end the deceit in Osun State and APC propaganda.
“I am sure they will not allow a dictator to come and govern this country again because as I said on several occasions, the evils the men do live after them.
“By the time they are behaving like God, they never knew that there will be today, today has finally come, they have to pay for their misdeeds in the past.”
Therefore he urged the residents of Osun and the whole Nigeria to vote for Jonathan, whose government he called people-oriented
“Jonathan is poised to revamp the decay infrastructure and this can be achieveable if he is given the chance to continue with the great job he has been doing. The rotational government must not be distorted so that one zone will not be short changed. If Jonathan wins and most of our candidates for the National Assembly did not win, the president will not enjoy what he is supposed to enjoy in terms of support, this is why our candidates must be voted for at all levels.
“The president has promised to implement the report of the Confab so that Yoruba will be given its rightful position in scheme of things in Nigeria.
“Jonathan’s government is people-oriented that is why he didn’t oppose the use of Smart Card Reader.”
Meanwhile two days are left before the major political event in the country. On March 28, Saturday, Nigeria will decide who is to rule the country in the nearest future.
