As preparations for the elections are in top gear, political parties in Nigeria are in giving their all in the last  minute preparations ahead of the polls.

Town hall meetings, visitation of markets, endorsement my various groups, last minute strategic meetings e.t.c are all the order of the day.
Political parties are leaving no stone unturned to drive home their key messages in order to convince the electorates of their intention to better their life.
While it is conventional to see political adverts through the media, rallies across the states, defections by aggrieved party members and endorsements by various groups, one area parties are now exploiting for their campaign publicity is organising solidarity walks.
This way, the parties get direct response from the electorates on the street and easily get either positive or negative vibes from the streets to test their acceptability and popularity.
Recently, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains in Lagos Island local government, Lagos state embarked on a solidarity walk along the streets of the local government. Naij.com was there and bring you photos from the event. See below:

Meanwhile, the Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress has warned residents against voting for the PDP saying the party will turn the state to a theater of unending war and violence.
